CCU «ICT-RESOURCE»
The Center for Collective Use of information, computing and telecommunication resources has been operating at the Institute since 2021 and provides services and technologies to support:
- access to the "Ural" Packet Switching Center “Ural” (Yekaterinburg) via high-speed data transmission network in the framework of the Giga–Ural Initiative” project
- operation of high-performance computing system “Triton” for implementing scientific computing
- virtual private network (VPN), electronic mail, and Internet access
- cloud storage of computer data

CCU «RESEARCH OF MATERIALS AND SUBSTANCES»
The focus of the center's activities for collective use is the organization of scientific research and the improvement of performance capacity of high-end equipment to permit:
- improvement of the level of fundamental and applied research on physical and mechanical properties of materials and structures
- extension of the instrumentation system accessible to users
- involvement of highly qualified personnel in the development and extensive application of new research methods for implementing joint scientific and scientific and technical projects
The main areas of research pursued at the center for collective use:
- high–speed processes
- analysis of processes and phenomena under conditions of complex stress-strain state, multifactor external impacts, long gauge lengths and complex loading histories
- investigation and testing of physical-mechanical, chemical, and biological properties, composition, structure, shape, and morphology of new materials and substances
