The journal of Computational Continuum Mechanics is a trimestrial per-reviewed scientific journal that has been published by ICMM UB RAS since 2008. The major themes of the journal include numerical methods for solving problems in deformable solid mechanics, fluid and gas mechanics, effective applications of these methods to study natural and technogenic phenomena, technological processes, behavior of buildings and structures, and the results of interdisciplinary research.

One of the main goals of the journal is to promote the development of new computational continuum mechanics technologies and their implementation in scientific and applied research.
The management, publication and distribution of the journal is based on the Open Journal System, a specialized, open source software application, providing efficient online submission of articles, their peer-review, and free and open access of readers to published information. The author's translation of the articles can be found in the English version of the journal. The journal is indexed in RSCI, Google Scholar, Scopus and is included in the lists of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) and Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI).
